Ralph Baber has a BSc(Hons) degree, is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Securities Institute. He has served on a number of regulatory panels including the SFA appeals tribunal. He was formerly Chief Executive of Union plc, a quoted financial services group. He is Managing Director of Union Investment Management and specialises in mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. |

Chris Tomlin has a BSc (Hons) degree and is a Chartered Surveyor and member of the RICS. Prior to joining Union Investment Management Limited he was an Associate Director at LaSalle Investment Management. Chris specialises in maximising returns from property assets held by the group. |

Mark Slater obtained a BA in History from Cambridge in 1991. In 1992, he helped research and edit a best-selling investment book "The Zulu Principle" for his father, Jim Slater, which focuses on identifying small to medium-sized growth companies. From October 1992 to March 1994, he worked for the Investors Chronicle, the UK's leading investment magazine, concentrating again on smaller companies. In April 1994, Mark founded Slater Investments Limited. He has run various top performing funds in addition to serving on the boards of a number of public companies. |
